Corrections and removals

When a record is wrong, we fix it in the open.

The exit record is useful only if it is right. Here is what we publish, where each fact comes from, and what happens when you tell us something is wrong.

What we publish

Facts about completed or announced liquidity events in the quantum sector: who, what kind of deal, its status, its dates, the value when it was disclosed, and the sources. We do not publish opinions about a deal or a company on these pages, and no deal is described as good or bad.

Where each fact comes from

Each record lists its sources, official ones first: regulatory filings, company press releases, exchange notices. Press coverage can point us to a deal. Since October 2026, a fact is written only when two independent readings of the same official source agree; when they disagree, the record stays out of public view until the question is settled.

How to report an error

Write to gaetan@cfofractal.ca with the page address and what is wrong. A link to an official source helps. You can also use the contact form.

What happens next

  1. We read the sources again, yours and ours.
  2. If the record is wrong, it is corrected, and its page shows the new verification date.
  3. If an official source denies the deal, or a company withdraws its announcement, the record is taken down until the facts are clear.
  4. If the record is right, we tell you which source it rests on.

Removals

We remove a record when it rests on a source that turns out to be wrong or withdrawn. We do not remove an accurate record of a public, officially announced deal on request, because the record is useful to investors precisely when it is complete. Company or personal data beyond what the public sources say is never published here; see our privacy notice.

Nature of the information

This record is information, not investment advice. It describes past and announced transactions from public sources and can contain errors despite our checks. Always read the original sources before relying on a fact.
